Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the new all-foil deck that commemorates the 2006 Legend of the Five Rings World Championship. Tomorrow releases March 12, 2007. Faber Van Kraanen won the day with the Ratlings, and was the first to enter the Tomb of Shinsei that held the gifts of the Seven Thunders. The Tomb was an actual place, set up in the cellars below the World Championship, where the top of Clan players were allowed to enter and choose one item for their Clan. These items will help to shape their Clan in the years to come. Each top of Clan player went in rank order, and their choices were made without the other Clans knowledge. Not only are the items chosen in the Tomb represented in this set, but their effects are also. First off though, one new card of the Tomb itself, illustrated by one who was there.

Tomorrow’s Hourglass Tomorrow The Ratlings chose the Hourglass, and with it decided to face their destiny, rather than continuing to flee from Tomorrow.

Kakita’s First Blade Kakita’s Edge The Crane chose Kakita’s Edge, and with it, a pursuit of purity and perfection.

Heavenly Kobune of Suitengu Kamoko’s Avatar The Unicorn chose the Heavenly Kobune, and gained a greater connection to the Heavens. Note: The Avatar does have a Fate card back.

Essence of Jigoku The Blasted Lands The Scorpion chose a Black Scroll… and to use it.

Jade Mirror Togashi’s Devoted The Dragon chose the Jade Mirror, and gained strength over corruption.

Egg of the Void Ring of the Phoenix The Phoenix chose the Egg of the Void, and gained a greater connection to the elements.

Tao of Fu Leng Barracks of the Damned The Crab chose the Tao of Fu Leng, and all the dangers inherent in it.

Ancestral Urn Shiryo no Matsu The Lion chose the Ancestral Urn, and a stronger link to one of their greatest heroes.

The Scarab Case Monkey Man The Shadowlands chose the The Scarab Case, and opened a connection to a new ally.

Candle of Shadows Naseru’s Last Words The Mantis chose the Candle of Shadows, and the chance to illuminate the Empire in darkness.
