Attendance and Koku Drive Update

Hisoka-sama,

the tournaments the Crane is sponsoring on behalf of the Empress seem to have their expected effect on the samurai: 54 samurai competed at the Academy for the title of Turquoise  Champion and over 500 samurai total have attended the various festivities the sons of Doji have organized since the start of the month of Akodo.
Utemaro-sama seems to have a knack for finding Koku. How he does it, I do not know, but I can only marvel at the amount we’ve received so far in the war effort: over 10,000 more Koku worth of pledges have been received by the Academy, bringing the total to over 17,000 Koku since the start of that specific drive.
