Kotei Montréal, Canada – River of Gold (G11) – One of the Empire’s most prominent rivers, the River of Gold is the lifeblood of trade throughout the Scorpion lands and beyond. It is said whoever controls it can control how many peasants are able to eat in a given season.
Kotei Nuernberg, Germany – Zokujin Mura (MC15) – This village is named for its founding, when a traveling ronin saw a zokujin in the nearby mountains and followed it, discovering a valuable vein of copper there.
Kotei Collinsville, IL – Karandetsu Market (SC 25)– This large town is home to the clan’s robust trade with other clans. Given the cutthroat nature of Scorpion mercantile concerns, it is regarded as one of the clan’s most dangerous locations. It is situation amid gentle, rolling hills.
Kotei Lafayette, LA – Shrine of the Shadow’s Eye (SC 37)– Similar to Shinden Gyokei, this shrine is devoted to magical research on behalf of the Scorpion. However, it lacks the military oversight of the other location, and as such is generally regarded as safer by most visitors.
