GenCon 2011 Tournaments: Imperial Yojimbo

In the new era depicted in Emperor Edition, the daimyo of the Imperial families, the Jeweled Champions, and the members of the Emperor’s Chosen have yet to be fully revealed. This is an opportunity to help shape the political landscape of the new arc.

The winner of this tournament may select any daimyo from one of the Imperial Families, Jeweled Champion, or Emperor’s Chosen and have their primary yojimbo come from the clan he played during the event. This is a position of great distinction and influence, and such a yojimbo will doubtless have an effect on the policies and conduct of these powerful individuals.
Living personalities from the Forgotten Legacy expansion may be selected for this prize, or new personalities may be created by collaboration between the Story Team and the tournament winner. However, created characters are not automatically eligible for new cards.

This event is reserved to the players already pre-qualified for the GenCon 2011 Main Event (the list will be made available shortly) and will take place on Aug 4th. Because this event takes place on Thursday at GenCon, the collaboration with the Story Team on the new character will take place at the convention, and the resulting fiction will be debuted there in Indianapolis!
