Dear L5R Fans,
As you know, GenCon is quickly approaching, and we would like to take some time to highlight our monumental achievement – our 10,000th Card, and the celebration associated with it.
The 10K Card will highlight various major moments in the story for Legend of the Five Rings. Named “The Deciding Moment”, this card represents all the hard work and dedication players have to the Legend of the Five Rings game. As such, our 10K Card Party at GenCon is going to touch on some of the great moments from the game as well, and include a special swag box to help you celebrate with us in style!
The swag box will have both the 10,000th card logo as well as the gorgeous artwork displayed below!
It contains a number of awesome items as well…
A copy of the 10K Card with the art of ‘The Ascension of Iweko’ illustrated gorgeously by Mario Wibisono!
Along with this will also be a playmat, displaying the 10,000th Card Logo along with this beautiful artwork.
We will also be giving each of you a Clan Bracelet for your Clan of choice, along with one representing Rokugan. Each bracelet will have a word exemplifying one of the most distinguishing features of the Clans they represent. Here is a sneak peak at a few of them!
And finally, each swag box will contain boosters from our next expansion, Seeds of Decay! We won’t spoil the awesome artwork that is on the packaging, but we know you won’t be disappointed!
We’re looking forward to seeing you all at our 10K Card Celebration, where we will have raffles of prizes both new and old from the AEG coffers! We will also be holding our Costume Contest at this event as well, which will have an impact on the L5R storyline. Below is the information:
Costume Contest Prize: The Governor’s Mediator
Despite everything else taking place in the Colonies and beyond, the attention of the Imperial Governor is not absent from the blossoming conflict between the Crane and the Mantis. Although interested to see what path the conflict takes, Otomo Suikihime is also aware that as the Empress’s representative in the Colonies, it is her duty to ensure that some measures are taken to mitigate affairs. One samurai from her court is chosen to serve as an intermediary between the two clans, and the samurai in question will be created in conjunction with the winner of the costume contest based on their costume.
