4 R Harsh Crossing Event               Until the next time this game a Province is destroyed, each time a unit assigns to an army, its controller must bow one unbowed Follower in that unit, if possible.
10 U Honor and Glory Event               If you are not a Shadowlands player, for the rest of the game, each time a Personality in an army issues a challenge, his controller gains 2 Honor, and each time a Personality not in an army issues a challenge, his controller loses 3 Honor.
5 R Hope in Shadows Event               Until the beginning of your next turn, Bloodspeaker cards and cards with Maho actions enter play bowed, and such cards in play are destroyed after becoming bowed.
7 R Jade Shortage Event               For the rest of the game, each player must bow one of his Gold-producing Holdings as an additional cost of paying for an Item or Follower. For the rest of the game, any player may end this effect on himself by bowing one of his Personalities as a Limited action.
3 R Our Darkest Hour Event               Beginning with you and proceeding in turn order, each player targets and destroys one Follower, Item, or Spell controlled by the player to his left. This is a Maho card effect.
1 R Purification Event               For the rest of the game, Shugenja add their printed Chi to their current Chi for purposes of casting or participating in Rituals.
2 R Rain of Blood Event               Beginning with the player to your left and proceeding in turn order, each player may permanently give one of his Personalities Shadowlands and +1F/+2C.
6 R Silence the Future Event               Until the beginning of your next turn, each Personality and Follower in the game has a maximum Force equal to its printed Force.
