Storyline Events - The Will of the Gods

The age of enlightenment has come. This is an age in which mankind must find its own destiny. In the Celestial Heavens, the gods are uncertain how to react to the changes which sweep Rokugan. Some blame humanity for allowing Shinsei’s last descendant to perish. Others are intrigued by this new enlightenment and wish to see what mankind will do next. On one thing, however, they are in agreement ¬ the Fortunes, dragons, and Kami will retreat to their heavens to observe until balance is restored. Only a single representative of the heavens will remain in Rokugan ¬ the Oracle of Thunder.

Gift of the Gods - Argentina
Benten, Fortune of Love, regrets Shinsei’s passing and wishes to ease mankind’s suffering. A shugenja the faction that wins this tournament will be chosen by Benten and receive her blessings. This shugenja will gain the power to call upon Benten’s direct intervention once, and will do so to aid his clan at a pivotal point in the next story arc.

Anger of the Gods - Australia
Bishamon, Fortune of Strength, is enraged by humanity’s failure to protect Shinsei. Before sealing himself away in the heavens, he will charge a member of the faction that wins this tournament to determine who was ultimately responsible for Shinsei’s death. The winner of this tournament may select any faction, even his own. A member of this faction will be found to be at fault for allowing Iuchiban’s assassin to enter the Imperial Palace, and Bishamon will punish them accordingly.

Legacy of the Gods - GenCon UK
The Oracle of Thunder will soon return to Rokugan. His name is already known to many, a man regarded as a hero throughout the Empire ¬ Mitsu. The faction that wins this tournament will be the first to recognize Mitsu’s new destiny. He will build a temple in their lands and forge a powerful alliance with this faction.
