L5R Players’ Generosity on Display

The Foodbank of Northwestern Indiana would like to thank the players of L5R for their incredibly generous donations as part of the Topaz Championship’s Honor Event.
We would like to once again echo those thanks and also thank Mike Colson for coordinating that effort as a Tournament Organizer and making sure that those in dire need of assistance would get it in this particularly rough Winter.

July Honor Contest Results

The jury convened, and here are the 4 placing entries in the 2010 July Honor MegaGame Contest.

Winner: Daidoji Maseru (4 Honor points, given to the Empire on the behalf of the Crane) .

658 copies of Daidoji Uji, in his various forms, from Imperial Edition to Celestial Edition 15.

2nd Place: Hinomura (2 Honor points, for the Spider)

3rd Place: Bayushi Subudi (1 Honor point, for the Scorpion)

July MegaGame Honor Contest

In July, AEG – through the Empire’s Glory MegaGame – offers you the opportunity to show your love of L5R and its setting though a Photo Contest. Do well and you will be able to help your favorite Clan of the Emerald Empire in his struggle against the supernatural disease that plagues the land.

To participate in the contest, all you have to do is submit 2 photos maximum (in one email) that show your L5R spirit. It can be you in a costume, a picture of your Imperial Herald collection, or something entirely different but it has to be L5R related. All submissions will be passed on to a group of hand-selected judges who will determine the winners based on originality of the subject, creativity of the picture and respect of the theme of the contest. Each photo has to be of a maximum size of 2Mo (jpeg format).

To submit your entries, starting July 1st, email megagameresults@alderac.com with your full name, your AEG forum handle and the Clan you’re representing for each entry and the following subject: 2010 Photo Contest submission.
You have until July 31st to send your submissions.

The winner of this contest will gain 4 Honor points that he’ll be able to donate to the Empire if he so chooses. If he doesn’t, the points will go to the Clan he represented with his submission.
2nd, 3rd and 4th place grant 2, 1 and 1 Honor point respectively that will be granted to the Clan stated in their submission.

Placing entries will be published on the official website.

Every bit of help can turn the tide and be the difference between succumbing to the plague or finding a cure so make sure your camera is ready, and shoot away, for you can have a say in the future of Rokugan.
