Event Description
Samurai Championships Qualifier Light of the Moon
Just as the Sun chooses a hero to receive its blessings, so too does the victorious Moon seek those worth of its favor. Although it too seeks a recipient who demonstrates the proper respect for the Celestial Order, the Moon has no little use for conventional heroes, and instead seeks one who can walk the fine line between reverence for the Order and the wicked ways over which the Moon hold sway.
The winner of this tournament will select from a list one personality of his faction who shall be chosen by the Moon to bear the new Obsidian Hand. The dark powers commanded by this artifact will elevate its bearer to new levels of influence throughout the seedy underbelly of Rokugan.
Race for the Throne Points: 12/6/3/3/1/1/1/1
This event will have two qualifying rounds Friday then the main event Saturday.

2nd Chance StoryLine Event Temples of Victory, Part 2
The tumult in the Celestial Heavens is completely unprecedented in Rokugan, for never have the divine entities of Tengoku risen up and demanded that the delicate balance, established at the beginning of time and changed only in recent years by the actions of man, be restored to its previous state. Now, two dragons battle against the mortal interlopers Yakamo and Hitomi, determined to expunge the stain of mankind from the Heavens’ highest ranks. Whatever the outcome, the shugenja and monks of Rokugan know that they must pay proper deference and respect to the victors, for to do otherwise could spell ruination for all they hold dear.
The winner of this tournament will have a temple erected to the victorious entity not previously selected at the South American Championships, either the Sun or the Moon, within his clan’s lands. Either the Temple of the Victorious Sun or the Temple of the Victorious Moon will be the first of its kind, and will become the primary site of worship for the entity in question throughout the Empire.
Race for the Throne Points: 4/2/1/1
