Storyline: Every year for a brief few days, the schools of sea dragons migrate along the Rokugani coast. These small fish bear a striking resemblance to dragons, hence their name, and are considered omens of good fortune. They are also a delicacy, but are taken from the sea very sparingly to avoid drawing the ire of Suitengu, the Fortune of the Sea. It is during the Festival of the Sea Dragon, when those who reap his bounty offer their thanks for his benevolence, that Suitengu offers his infrequent blessings upon mortals.
Special: The winner of this tournament will be able to make one of two possible choices as a samurai from the Great Clans claims a lost bounty of the sea. The winner may either choose the identity of the samurai who claims Suitengu’s blessing by choosing any currently living personality aligned to the clan used to win the tournament, or they may choose that the nature of the blessing will be an ancient treasure lost to the seas and returned to moral hands by Suitengu’s choosing. (Please note that the Bloodsword Passion, lost to the seas centuries ago, may not be chosen for this prize.)
