Hero of the Empire, Part 1
As winter looms close by, the battles in the northern and southern reaches of the Empire grow more frantic. The Great Clans are desperate to drive their enemies farther back and gain as much territory as possible before the onset of winter brings the conflict to a halt. Or at least that is what the commanders hope, for no one knows if even winter can halt the inexorable progress of the Destroyers or the Army of Fire. As winter draws ever nearer, however, one hero shall step forward from the ranks to strike a mighty blow for the Empire, driving the enemy before him in a panic and earning the adoration of thousands.
The winner of this tournament may select any one living personality currently aligned with their Clan. That personality will come to the fore as a hero in the battle against the Destroyers in the southern reaches of Rokugan, and will be celebrated throughout the Empire as one of the greatest heroes of his generation.
This tournament is part of the 2010 MegaGame and will give players the following opportunities to gain Honor and Glory for their Clan, or the Empire if they so choose.
Main Event: Hero of the Empire, Part 1
- Winner will gain 8 Glory points he can keep, or donate to the Empire or any other Clan.
- 2nd Place will gain 4 Glory points he can only keep.
- 3rd and 4th Place will each gain 2 Glory points they can only keep for their respective Clan.
Honor Event: Charity Drive
- Winner will gain 8 Honor points he can keep, or donate to the Empire or any other Clan.
- 2nd Place will gain 4 Honor points he can only keep.
- 3rd and 4th Place will each gain 2 Honor points they can only keep for their respective Clan.
