Race for the Throne: Poster Contest

Now is your chance to show your design skills to the gaming world and earn your Clan up to 5 Spirit points in the Race for the Throne! We want you to design a poster for L5R that conveys the spirit of the game, and why people should be playing. We’ll be taking submissions until May 1, and then a panel of L5R retailers and distributors will help choose which design they feel is the best. After that, we will produce the poster and send it out to L5R stores. Your design might be seen around the world!

Design Parameters

Purpose of the Poster:

- Poster is intended to show people why L5R and/or Samurai Edition is cool and they want to be a part of it.
- Poster can be limited to one Clan or feature various Clans.
- You may submit as many posters as you like.

Materials:

- You may use any and all L5R artwork or images you find on the internet or scan from cards. AEG will not provide images at request. Bear in mind however that we are looking for reasons to play now, older images or characters may not be the best to use! You may also use original artwork if you wish.

Dimensions:

- Poster will be printed at 22 inches by 18 inches. It can be portrait or landscape. Files sent in should be at 300 dpi in either .jpg or .tif formats.

Judging Criteria:

- The poster will be judged on its message as much as its design. Even if your design skills aren’t the best, don’t worry, we can have one of our graphic designers fix it up if the concept of your poster was amazing.

Submission Deadline and Address:

- All submissions are due by May 1, 2007. Please send them to this address with the subject line “L5R Poster Contest.” Any submissions not including that subject line will not be reviewed.
