The Imperial Gift is an all-new FREE expansion for the Legend of the Five Rings CCG. 150 completely free cards for your collection. These cards are fully tournament legal with the new Celestial Edition arc, and will add new strategies and tricks to your tournament level decks. Best of all, these free cards also serve as a learn-to-play tool for new players.

To get the Imperial Gift, just visit your local game retailer and ask or check out the AEG online store. The Imperial Gift is divided into three parts, the first already out to the public, the second releasing August 1, 2009 and the third coming soon to mark the 15th anniversary of Legend of the Five Rings.

Imperial Gift I
Imperial Gift I served as an introduction to L5R, with cards for every Clan and cards of every type. These cards are now unavailable from AEG.

Imperial Gift II
Imperial Gift II features two fully playable, fully legal decks. Each deck is designed to introduce the player to the Clans of Legend of the Five Rings and the basic mechanics. Best of all you can even use the strongholds to build unique decks in normal constructed play. Imperial Gift II has been fully released and is no longer available from AEG. Imperial Gift III
Imperial Gift III introduces many more new cards that take a look back at the history of L5R, the epic story-line of the last 15 years, and a look at the challenges ahead that face the Emerald Empire.
